Congratulations to our NT Connection Groups!
Our NT Connections event came to a close last week. We are so proud to of been able to host such an array young, talented performers. They all put on an amazing show and we want to say a huge congratulations to all who performed and a massive thank you tot hose who came and watched them perform.
Chris Cuming, our head of ENGAGE, had this to say about the event.
‘Being able to host the NT Connections festival this year is yet again such an important part of our Season. Championing new writing is something that we’re really passionate about and allowing young people to interpret and present their pieces here at Reading Rep is brilliant.
Through this collaboration with the National Theatre we’re able to not only allow the companies to perform on the stage but also to experience a technical rehearsal working with creatives. We’ve also run our first NT Connections Festival where we welcomed five performing arts courses from around Reading to have a Theatre Design, production and movement workshop.’
