We had a lovely week welcoming 30 young people on our Summer West End Experience. 

Working with professional West End performers Lizzie Bea, Josh Barnett, Amy Ambrose and Musical Director Patrick Stockbridge, participants worked together to create an evening of solo’s and group performances paying homage to our favourite West End productions.  

Reflecting on the week Patrick said “The participants were a great bunch and there was a lot of talent and effort demonstrated by them all.  Lizzie and Josh were a joy to work with and very inspiring for the students (and for the other leaders). It definitely brought new energies into the space and the Q&A sessions were very useful.”

A parent of one of the participants said “They had the most fantastic week. She thoroughly enjoyed being with others that share her passion. The tutors were all so kind, full of enthusiasm and generously shared their knowledge. It was evident from the show the amazing tuition they were offered and the fun they had along the way.” 

This group really did bring the West End to Reading!
