Today we are extremely excited to announce the cast for our upcoming production The Rumble Under the Rug, directed and written by Helen Eastman  (Alby the Penguin Saves Christmas, Alby the Penguin Saves the World).

Before hitting our theatre, The Rumble Under The Rug will be visiting local libraries, schools and the Reading Town Centre’s John Lewis Store. All performances on these tour dates are completely free!

After it’s tour The Rumble Under The Rug will show at our theatre from 31 May – 3 June.

INTRODUCING:

Holly Burns as Dr. Hubbub 

Holly Burns returns to Reading Rep after making her professional debut in our latest production Peter Pan. Holly is a Reading born actress, with bases in London and Manchester. She completed her training at ALRA North and Rose Bruford College in 2022. During her third year, Holly played the role of Alistair Ryle in an all female-cast of Laura Wade’s ‘Posh’, directed by Heather Carroll and Yusuf Khamisa.
